News articles are easy to publish from your lovebowls website and you can do it either from a computer, tablet or mobile device.
Members and visitors can conveniently access articles either directly from your Home page or through popular search engines like Google and Bing. Plus, you have the option to effortlessly share articles with your social media followers on platforms like Facebook and Twitter, or distribute them via email.
To add articles, first open the News screen by clicking the icon located on the Home screen.
Then click the Add button to show the News Editor Screen. The image below shows a news article loaded into the editor.
Headline: This is where you enter the main title or headline of your news article, the attention-grabbing phrase that summarises the topic.
Leadline: The leadline is a concise, engaging summary that provides a glimpse of the article's key points, placed just below the headline. It is optional however we recommend you always use one.
Body: This is the main content area where you write the full text of your news article. It's where you provide all the details, information, and context for the story. You can add formatting including links to pages on your site or elsewhere.
Image: You can attach a relevant image or photo to your article. This visual element can enhance the reader's understanding of the topic and make the article more appealing. Images should be in 4:3 ratio either portrait or landscape. The default image is your club badge, however we recommend you upload images for each of your news articles if possible.
Image Credit: If you're using an image that requires attribution, you should credit the source or photographer in this field. Alternatively, you can leave this field blank or use this field to show additional info about the image.
Members Only?: This option allows you to decide whether the article is accessible to all website visitors or restricted to your members only. Useful for controlling content visibility.
Start Showing: You can specify the date when the article should first appear on the website or become visible to visitors.
Stop Showing: Set the date when the article should be removed from the website or hidden from view. Useful for time-sensitive content.
Categories: Assign the article to one or more predefined categories to help readers find related content easily. Click the "Edit" button located here to quickly navigate to the Admin page where your categories are managed.
Attachments: If your article includes additional files, documents, or resources, you can attach up to 5 of them here for readers to download or access.
When saved the article is displayed as shown below.
