We hope that you all are enjoying your Bowls this year - nearly the end of this season now, how time flies!.

The Lorrimer Cup  - A great day was had by all 14 teams that entered The Lorimer Charity Cup 'Wings' Appeal Bowls Open on Sunday 18th August.

The Runners Up: Bognor Rocks

Tony Wells, Gill Conley and Chris Wells

Congratulations to all of the winners.

We raised a massive £1300.00 for the RAFA Wings Appeal this year - Thanks go to everyone who helped here.

(especially Hilly and Chris for the great organisation of this fundraising charity event).

BOOZE BUSTERS 

The leaders after week 8  MILLWALL with Arsenal in second place and Brentford in 3rd position..

Chelsea 4th, Crystal Palace 5th and last but not least Bognor rocks in 6th position currently.

Only two more Boozebuster sessions this year. NOTE - both will start at 5pm.

MIXED DRAWN TRIPLES COMPETITION - 24 players competed in the popular Mixed Drawn Triples on a lovely sunny August day.

There were two groups of four teams and the two top teams will play for the cup during Finals Weekend.

This means that Mike Kibby/John Lea and Shirley Kitchen will clash with Joan Wells/Chris Ayton and Les Bibby.

The two runners up will play for the Plate - that’s Tommy Gaskin/Janet Collins and Dave Wells up against Rod Fraser/ Laura Inwood and Tony Wells.

FINALS WEEKEND - A great season with lots of competitions this year all well supported and last minute competition matches still being played.

Please come and support our competition Finals weekend on the 7th and 8th of September. Who will the winners be this year?

END OF SEASON FUN DAY - This is being held on the 29th September 2024 at 2.00pm on the green Mike is arranging the day - please put your names down on the website to give Mike an indication of numbers for the day.

This is the last day of the season - do come along for a final afternoon  of FUN Bowls.

CARPET BOWLS - The 2024-2025 season starts shortly! ....... Tuesday mornings from 1st October 2024 - 9.45 for 10.00am start. Come along and try.

Please note we will not be playing on 8th October as there is a function going on at the club
